Refund & Returns Policy – Hairdressers Hardware
At Hairdressers Hardware, we want you to shop with confidence. Our 14-day return policy applies to unused items in their original packaging, accompanied by proof of purchase.
Items Eligible for Return
- Unused products in original condition, seals intact, in original packaging and fit for resale
- Products returned within 14 days of purchase
Non‑Returnable Items For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Personal Care Products
- Opened or partially used
- Hair extensions, wefts or swatches or any products containing human hair
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Gift cards
Refunds for Faulty or Damaged Goods We only issue refunds for faulty or damaged products that occurred and reported to us within 3 days of receiving products. Refunds are not eligible on change or mind purchases, non-stocked special orders for clients. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method for consumers or store credit for trade holders.
Faulty or Damaged Goods: As a wholesaler Hairdressers Hardware does not offer refunds or exchanges against manufacturer's warranty products such as Electrical products, Salon Equipment, precision tools or any other products subject to a manufacturer's warranty. These claims are subject to a manufacturers warranty claim
Manufacturers Warranty Claims: We are committed to supporting our customers with any valid manufacturer’s warranty claims. If your product is covered under a manufacturer’s warranty, we will assist you in lodging the claim and facilitate communication with the supplier to ensure a fair resolution. Please note that the final determination, repair, replacement, or refund remains subject to the manufacturer’s assessment and decision. Our role is to guide you through the process and provide timely updates until the claim is resolved.

Shipping & Processing Times Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds exclude shipping fees. For items over $75, we recommend using a trackable service or shipping insurance. Delivery fees maybe incurred by customers for any replacement items

General Terms
- Our policy is strictly 14 days from date of purchase. Any purchases elapsed beyond 14 days are not eligible for a credit, refund, or exchange.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
- Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Hair colour, chemicals, and goods that are intimate or sanitary nature (including if hair extensions) Additional non-returnable items include gift cards. and special orders
- To complete your return, we require a receipt with proof of purchase.
Refunds
- We only offer refunds for damaged or faulty goods and strictly not for change of mind.
Late or missing refunds
- Refunds and reversals may take up to 5 business days for banks to apply to your account
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank or credit card provider
- Allow bank processing time for your refund to appear in your account.
Exchanges or Refunds
- If you wish to make an exchange or return contact info@hairdressershardware.com.au for review.
Shipping
- Returns must be couriered or delivered to our warehouse: Unit 20/22 Hudson Avenue Castle Hill NSW 2154 or you can present the item in our showroom.
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Replacement freight costs may also be applied.
- Shipping an insurance for returns are at customers expense. We recommend parcel insurance and trackable shipping options for your returns. It is the consumers liability until products are received at our premises and signed for in good condition.
Items Received in Faulty or damaged condition
